I taught a movie making class this year at St. Lukes school, a private school in the West Village. One of the assignments that I gave my students was to come up with a commercial. This commercial had to take a product, present the problem, offer a solution, and show how the product has made everyone's life easier. In the original assignment, I told them that they HAD to use an already existing product. But when they came up with the idea of a Little Mr. Chen, I could not say no. It sounded too good to pass up.
The project allowed me to introduce use of a green screen and other special effects. Enjoy!

Wow, that's really impressive! Green screen effect....it's pretty funny stuff. I need a little Mr. Chen to clean my house, how do I get one?

ReplyDeleteDude... that is too awesome. Which program did you use for green screening? I taught mini-film classes at church before but they had to use my software to play with green screens (which sucked).
